Re-enactment or living history groups portray the life in a certain period.

The Gordons Living History show the life of the soldiers and their families within the famous regiment 92nd Gordon Highlanders in the so-called Napoleonic wars, roughly from 1799 to 1815.

The 92nd earned their first battle honour in Holland, during the ill-fated invasion in 1799. Being a group mainly based in North-Holland, with it's home in the fortress of Kijkduin in Den Helder, it was decided to portray a group which took part in this campain.

On this site you can find information about the regiment itself as well the re-enactmentgroup. You will see pictures of events we been to, next to a calender of events where we intend to go to.
Also you will find links to the sites of other re-enactmentgroups, in Holland and abroad.

I hope you enjoy the site, please feel free to leave your comment.
